🇬🇧 NYLON Magazine
Client: NYLON is an American multimedia brand that publishes a lifestyle magazine dedicated to pop culture and fashion, art, beauty, music, design, celebrities, technology and travel.
Project Specifications:
I worked with NYLON in 2023 proofreading English (USA) subtitles representing a total of 10 hours of bilingual video content featuring fashion celebrities in collaboration with Chanel, and translating the associated articles into English (USA).
In 2025, I copyedited and proofread the first French-language edition of NYLON's print magazine released on March 14th. The language is particularly contemporary, targeting Gen-Z and Gen-A audiences, with a great deal of borrowed English-language terms, French slang, and international cultural references in pop culture, fashion, and music.

🇫🇷 NYLON Magazine
Client : NYLON est une marque multimédia américaine qui publie un magazine lifestyle dédié à la culture pop (mode, art, beauté, musique, design, célébrités), mais aussi la technologie et le voyage.
Descriptif du projet :
En 2023, j'ai assuré la relecture de sous-titres en anglais américain, pour un total de 10 heures de contenu vidéo bilingue, lors d’interviews de personnalités de la mode dans le cadre d'une collaboration avec Chanel, ainsi que la traduction des articles associés vers l'anglais américain.
En 2025, relecture complète de la toute première édition francophone du magazine papier NYLON, paru le 14 mars. La langue y est résolument contemporaine, ciblant les générations Z et Alpha, avec une forte présence d'emprunts à l'anglais, d'argot français et de références culturelles internationales issues de la pop culture, de la mode et de la musique.

🇬🇧 SACEM - Société des auteurs, compositeurs et éditeurs de musique
Client: Founded in 1851, the SACEM (Society of Music Authors, Composers, and Publishers) is a Performing Rights Organisation (equivalent to the ASCAP in the USA or PRS for Music in the UK) dedicated to managing rights for music professionals in France and around the world. It is a private organisation that represents its members by managing accounts, detecting use of copyrighted materials, and collecting revenue. (Website)
Project Specifications: SACEM contacted me to edit, proofread, and provide quality assurance of their 2024 Annual Report in UK English, to be published on their website. The faulty translation I came in to clean up was so far below the organisation's standards that it required a complete rewrite. The project involved a careful extraction of the text from the website into an editable format — a total volume of 7,000 words — along with additional QA and correction of video subtitles. Off the back of this first collaboration, SACEM subsequently contracted me to translate the 2025 Annual Report in full for a total of 10,000 words.

Elle protège et représente les intérêts de plus de 161 000 membres — auteurs, compositeurs et éditeurs — à l'échelle nationale et mondiale. (Site web)
Descriptif du projet : La SACEM m'a confié la révision, la correction et le contrôle qualité de son Rapport Annuel 2024 en anglais britannique, destiné à publication sur son site web. La traduction initiale était si éloignée des exigences de l'organisation qu'elle a nécessité une réécriture intégrale. Le projet a impliqué une extraction minutieuse du contenu depuis le site web vers un format éditable, pour un volume total de 7 000 mots, complétée par un contrôle qualité et la correction des sous-titres vidéo. Fort de cette première collaboration, la SACEM m'a ensuite confié la traduction du Rapport Annuel 2025 en intégralité, un total de 10 000 mots.

🇬🇧 International Medical Informatics Association
Client: The International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA) is an independent organisation established in 1967 dedicated to promoting information science in modern society, particularly in the fields of healthcare, bioscience, and medicine.
Project Specifications: Since 2024, I have held an annual contract as Editorial Assistant for the IMIA Yearbook — a landmark publication in the field, drawing contributions from some of the most prestigious universities and research institutes in the world. Each year, I am solely responsible for laying out all contributor articles and IMIA team content into the final yearbook format and providing quality assurance. Working in InDesign, this involves close collaboration with the editor and publishing arm to produce the book for digital release in PDF and web format. The 2024 edition ran to 300 pages incorporating almost 40 research papers, representing the collective work of a team of over 30 editors.

Client : L'Association Internationale d'Informatique Médicale (IMIA) est une organisation indépendante fondée en 1967, dédiée à la promotion des sciences de l'information dans la société contemporaine, en particulier dans les domaines de la santé, des biosciences et de la médecine.
Descriptif du projet : Depuis 2024, j'assure chaque année la mission d'assistant éditorial pour le Yearbook IMIA — une publication de référence dans le secteur, rassemblant les contributions de certaines des universités et institutions de recherche les plus prestigieuses au monde. Je suis responsable de la mise en page de l'ensemble des articles des contributeurs et des contenus de l'équipe IMIA dans le format définitif du Yearbook, ainsi que du contrôle qualité. Travaillant sous InDesign, cette mission implique une collaboration étroite avec le rédacteur en chef et le pôle éditorial pour produire l'ouvrage en vue d'une diffusion numérique en formats PDF et web. L'édition 2024 représente un total de 300 pages, intégrant près de 40 articles de recherche, et constitue le fruit du travail collectif d'une équipe de plus de 30 éditeurs.
